The script for the performance was based on the therapeutic fairy tale “Ladybird Klara,” written by Justyna Piecyk. Students from Bolesławiec schools performed in the show. The organizers hope that the performance will help sick children believe that recovery is possible and that they must fight for their health—and, above all, that they must never give up.
From Primary School No. 2: Maja Stasiak as Ladybird Klara, Wiktoria Eliaszewicz as Klara’s mother, Jakub Mazur as Klara’s father, Fabian Gałka as Doctor Beetle, Nikola Tylutki and Weronika Szast as Klara’s friends, and Jacek Garmider, Sławomir Kulczycki and Grzegorz Mielecki as the animals that helped Klara. From Primary School No. 4: Martyna Paprot as the twin ladybird who saved Klara’s life; and from the Piarist Schools Complex, Julia Wędzina as the narrator. Script adaptation, set design and preparation of the children: Irena Brożek.
The invited guests included Monika Zioła, a bone marrow donor who saved a young boy’s life; Irena Sikora-Kołodyńska, Director of Municipal School Complex No. 3; and Zbigniew Herbut, President of the Bolesławiec District Branch of the Polish Red Cross. Special thanks for their cooperation in staging the performance were given to Krystyna Andres - Wędzina, Joanna Filistyńska, Zbigniew Herbut, Polish Red Cross volunteers from the Electronic Schools Complex and from the General and Vocational Schools Complex in Bolesławiec, as well as the parents of the “young actors.”
