– It was a great pleasure to host in Nowogrodziec a group of 65 tourist guides affiliated with PTTK Legnica. They were guides from throughout Legnica County. For them, Nowogrodziec was the destination of their sightseeing tour – municipal officials report. They add: – They had heard a lot about hospitable Nowogrodziec, as our town had been recommended by tourist-group guides who had previously visited us.
The guides visited the Market Square and the town’s defensive walls, learned about the history of pottery in the gmina and the history of Wielki Garniec. They also learned about the history of the beautiful church – the Church of Saints Peter and Paul – and attended a concert featuring works by Józef Ignacy Schnabel (performed by Mariusz Urban).
