The delegation also included the president of NSK, adviser to the Association of Japanese Employers in Poland “Shokokai” Katsuyuki Kambara with his wife, as well as Jacek Mendyk, a specialist at the Embassy of Japan. The delegation was received by Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman.

The economy, the development of Bolesławiec, and investments and investment opportunities in the city were the main topics discussed during the meeting. The guests also had the opportunity to learn about the history and traditions of Bolesławiec.

The program of the visit also included sightseeing in the city, participation in a ceremony at Lower Secondary School No. 2, a visit to Ceramika Artystyczna, and a visit to the Bolesławiec Subzone of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone “Invest-Park”.

This was Ambassador Makoto Yamanaki’s first visit to Bolesławiec. “Even before coming to Poland, I had heard about Bolesławiec ceramics and had the opportunity to see and admire them,” the ambassador said.
