Why? The monastery retaining wall collapsed. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
A section approximately 50 metres long is closed. The detour from the direction of Zebrzydowa runs through Parzyce. As we have established, it may last until 18:00.
The heritage conservation officer and the land manager have already been informed of the incident.
Update
According to the District Building Supervision Inspectorate, the incident was caused by the poor technical condition of the structure and years of neglect. The District Building Supervision Inspectorate also ordered the owner of the structure, the Nowogrodziec Municipality, to remove the rubble and secure the remaining section of the wall.
