To the delight of visitors, the fountain in the pond at Nasze Zoo has been operated for two years now. It is not only pleasing to the eye, but also helps increase the oxygen level in the pond. As a result, a pleasant microclimate prevails there. In addition to its advantages, the fountain has one major drawback: it is powered by a pump that requires a lot of electricity. Nasze Zoo cannot afford to cover these costs in full.
Help came from the municipal company “Stadtwerke Görlitz (SWG),” which agreed to cover part of the costs. Thanks to this, visitors to Nasze Zoo in 2015 will also be able to admire the fountain’s beauty after Mr. Caron, head of the marketing department at Stadtwerke Görlitz AG, presses the button by the barbecue pavilion at 2:00 p.m. on March 29.
