Drivers have only three more days to replace their old driving licences. The deadline for replacing documents issued from 1 June 1993 to 30 June 1999 expires on 30 June. From 1 July, all so-called old driving licences will become invalid. This means that from 1 July, a driver holding an old driving licence will not be legally allowed to drive a car. The police announce strict penalties for drivers who fail to replace their documents in time. Driving a car without a valid driving licence may cost as much as PLN 500.

Since the beginning of June, the number of customers visiting the Customer Service Offices of the Bolesławiec County Office has risen significantly. Many drivers waited until the last moment to replace their driving licences. Hence the long queues.
