More than 550 of the best competitors from 133 clubs across Poland took part in the competition. UKS Oxpress was represented by Izabela Tkaczyk and Agata Knapik.
Unfortunately, in addition to their rivals, our athletes also had to contend with illness. Despite this, they achieved excellent results, although they did not hide the fact that they had hoped for more.
Our currently best swimmer, Izabela Tkaczyk, took fifth place in the A final of the 100 m individual medley and ninth place in the 200 m individual medley. In addition, Iza competed in two B finals in the 50 m and 100 m freestyle.
Agata Knapik finished tenth in the A final of the 100 m individual medley and also competed in two B finals in the 200 m and 400 m individual medley. The results achieved at the Polish Championships pleased coaches Krzysztof Wróbel and Wiktor Łodyga.
– Our athletes started the season very well, although health problems affected them during preparations and the Polish Championships. Once again, our swimmers showed that they are among the leading athletes in Poland. If they remain healthy, they can bring us a lot of joy this year – said coach Krzysztof Wróbel.
