The Bolesławiec episode of Kitchen Revolutions will be broadcast on March 19 at 9:30 p.m. While the program was being filmed, Magda Geissler told us about “Śląskie niebo”, a dish from our region that was served at the dinner concluding the episode of “Kitchen Revolutions”.
In the preview of the program, a few details about the problems at the Bolesławiec restaurant.
In Bolesławiec, by the Market Square, there is a historic tenement house called “Pod Złotym Aniołem”, which is home to the city’s oldest restaurant of the same name, with a history dating back to the 14th century! For the past 20 years, the restaurant’s recent history has been shaped by Mrs. Basia, who is helped by her brother—an amateur cook. Unfortunately, the golden days of the “Pod Złotym Aniołem” restaurant are long gone, as the establishment has been operating at a loss for two years. After 20 years of work, the owner feels tired, has no idea how to change things and has lost her enthusiasm for work. That is why she called Magda Gessler for help. Unfortunately, the condition of the restaurant is just as dramatic as Mrs. Basia’s knowledge of cuisine—after 20 years of running a restaurant with Italian pizza on the menu, she does not know what Parmesan or carpaccio is... Will four days really be enough for Magda Gessler to save this restaurant?
