The author of the fairy tale “Garbuska” visited the Community Centre in Trzebień, where she will return in April with stories about Morocco, the Community Centre in Kraśnik Dolny and the Municipal Public Library in Kruszyn. Her next visit will be to the library in Żeliszew. This delightful tour promoting the fairy tale was organised for the writer by Beata Widera from the Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu.
Grażyna Hanaf was welcomed in Kruszyn just as warmly and cordially as in Trzebień and Kraśnik. The children eagerly drew Garbuska, although at first it was necessary to explain to them who a hunchbacked person really is and what such a person looks like. The writer also brought original illustrations for the fairy tale, created by Anna Chaberek.
Parents and grandparents with children attended the meeting, as did councillors: Grażyna Łucka from Łaziska and Rafał Janiec from Kruszyn. Everyone enjoyed the presentation, the reading of the fairy tale and the wish-making workshop, although one of the girls did not have a single wish.
“Like the others, this meeting was exceptional,” says Grażyna Hanaf. “And I still think about that girl. A lovely child with very beautiful eyes, I would say dreamy eyes, who did not have a single dream. In Kraśnik, there was a girl who immediately and without embarrassment wanted everything: a good husband, money and a great car; she radiated joy and such an appetite for life. The other girl was calm, serious and quiet. I hope that she simply did not reveal her dreams during the workshop, and that she will have lots of them in life,” adds the author of Garbuska.
Below we present beautiful drawings from Kruszyn. Their authors are: Wiktoria Roman, Amelia Mazurkiewicz, Zosia Marszałek, Szymon, Dominika, Karol, Martyna Plis and Aneta Zawrotniak.
