On Thursday, BKS Bolesławiec faced Górnik Wałbrzych at home. During the first quarter of an hour, the visitors had more chances to score. In the 10th minute, Wojtarowicz took advantage of the confusion in front of the BKS goal and gave the visitors the lead with a shot into the top-right corner. During this period, the Bolesławiec players could have scored twice. First, Pietrzak shot wide from a free kick; then Jacek Jasiński missed badly from several metres out. In the 26th minute, Górnik were already 2–0 ahead. The goal came after a rebound, with Bębeniec getting his name on the scoresheet. After conceding the second goal, the Bolesławiec players sped up their play, but little came of it. Three minutes before the end of the first half, the BKS goalkeeper made an excellent save. In the 44th minute, Pietkiewicz had a good chance to score a goal that would have brought BKS back into the match. However, his shot was too weak and also went wide.
No more goals were scored in the second half. Despite BKS’s determined efforts, the visitors had more chances to change the result. The Bolesławiec goalkeeper made several successful interventions. During the final quarter of an hour, Górnik’s players were under siege in front of their own goal. In the 77th minute, Marcin Szaja crossed into the penalty area, but Janczyszyn’s header went wide. The result did not change. BKS Bolesławiec lost 0–2 to Górnik Wałbrzych and ultimately finished 8th in the Lower Silesian fourth division table.
