The artist did not need to introduce himself to the residents of Bolesławiec. His body of work, more than 50 years on stage and 108 albums released meant that, from the first song, the audience and the musician were like old friends. Together with Krzysztof Krawczyk, they sang a dozen or so songs, because who among us does not know the hits: “Jak minął dzień”, “Mój Przyjacielu”, “Tylko Ty, tylko ja – ze sobą i dla siebie” or “Parostatek”.

The musician was in excellent form. During the performance, he spoke warmly about his fans, entertained the audience with anecdotes about his life and experiences, and flirted with the female members of the audience.

In one of his statements, he said that he did not recognise Women’s Day… because it should be celebrated every day! Ultimately, he dedicated the song “Bo jesteś ty” to the ladies, during which he danced with his wife Ewa, who accompanied him on stage. The audience also learned the story behind the creation of the song “Chciałbym być”, whose lyrics were written by Maciej Maleńczuk and music by Robert Gawliński. It was initially intended to be a biographical song; however, the vocalist stated that he did not want to be a sailor because he suffered from seasickness and was also afraid of tattoos.

The wonderful concert moved the attendees, while the hall had a fantastic time, rewarding the musicians with a standing ovation. For the encore, Krzysztof Krawczyk performed “Abba Ojcze”.
