The keys were handed over to Inspector Henryk Stefanko, the District Police Chief in Bolesławiec, and Przemysław Rudzik, the chief of the police station in Kruszyn, by Bolesławiec Municipality Head Andrzej Dutkowski.
The marked Opel car will make police officers’ daily work easier and improve safety in our municipality. “We are always ready to help the local police,” the municipality head said while handing over the keys. “That is why we decided to co-finance the purchase of a new police car.”
Inspector Henryk Stefanko also appreciated the support from Bolesławiec Municipality, noting that thanks to such assistance, municipal police stations are often better equipped than district stations. At the same time, the District Police Chief assured residents that if they wish to organize meetings focused on improving their safety, raising awareness of “grandparent scams” and similar issues, he is open to organizing them.
The funding provided by Bolesławiec Municipality for the purchase amounted to more than PLN 20,000.
