24-year-old vandal damaged eight bins in Legnica city centre

During the night of 4–5 March, at around 1:30 a.m., a young man damaged eight rubbish bins in Legnica’s Market Square by kicking them. After receiving information from a city surveillance operator, police arrested the perpetrator of the property damage.

The suspect was taken into police custody. He is a 24-year-old resident of Legnica. At the time of his arrest, he was drunk—his breath contained more than 2 per mille of alcohol.

Employees of the Legnica municipal office estimated the losses at more than PLN 1,300. The 24-year-old vandal faces up to five years in prison.
