The incident took place on 14 February 2015, at approximately 11:55 p.m., on Nad Łomnicą Street in Karpacz. The shop owner notified the duty officer at the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra about the robbery.

According to the report, shortly before closing that day, three masked men ran into the shop. One of them smashed the glass in a refrigerated display case with a telescopic baton, while another terrorized the victim using an object resembling a firearm.

As a result, the robbers stole the cash register drawer along with the money. At the same time, the third perpetrator stole several bottles of beer from the refrigerator. Officers determined that after the robbery, the men ran towards the stadium in Karpacz.

Descriptions of the perpetrators:

  • One of the men was wearing a black-and-burgundy sweatshirt with a burgundy hood and a distinctive print on the front. At the time of the robbery, he had the hood over his head and his face covered with a green scarf or neckerchief. Dark trousers. He was holding a telescopic baton approximately 40 cm long.
  • The second attacker was wearing an olive jacket, with a light-coloured hood visible underneath the jacket or sweatshirt; dark trousers. He was approximately 180 cm tall, taller and slimmer than his companions. He was holding an object resembling a firearm. The investigation established that he had short blond hair.
  • The third man was wearing a dark hooded jacket and dark trousers and had short hair. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing the hood over his head.

The attackers may have been approximately 14–20 years old.
