A food processor and kettle were delivered to the Children’s Home on Słubicka Street. A steamer and toaster went to the facility on Wandy Street. The gifts greatly pleased the residents and staff.

Let us recall that our city won the first stage of the nationwide “Świeć się z Energą” competition. Thanks to Internet users’ votes, Legnica defeated, among others, Świdnica and Strzegom in the region, advancing to the grand final. As the winner of the provincial stage, the city received household appliances worth PLN 1,000, intended for a social cause. The mayor decided to give this prize to the children’s home residents.
