Graduating students of the hotel management technical school at the Emilia Plater Complex of Upper-Secondary Schools in Zgorzelec (Magdalena Pawluk, Arleta Kusiakiewicz and Żaneta Grzegorczyk) took second place in the “Best Student in the Hotel Technician Profession” competition, organized as part of the “Modernization of Vocational Education in Lower Silesia II” project.
The competition, organized by the Vocational Information Centre in Wałbrzych, was held at the Complex of Economic and Tourism Schools in Jelenia Góra. Nine three-person teams from nine secondary schools in the region, educating young people in hotel management, took part. The aim of the competition was to test the practical knowledge and professional skills of future hotel workers.
With this outstanding result, the students put the finishing touch to their four years of study in the hotel technician profession.
