The accident occurred on February 20, at approximately 2:20 p.m., on Cieplicka Street in Jelenia Góra. According to preliminary findings by officers, a 42-year-old Ford Mondeo driver hit a pedestrian while reversing. She had been walking behind the vehicle.
The woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. The participants in the incident were sober. Police are determining the cause of the incident.
