The incident took place on Tuesday, February 17, at around 6:00 a.m., at the intersection of Wolności and Wojska Polskiego streets. Police officers determined that the Nissan driver failed to yield the right of way to a Mercedes traveling through the intersection. A collision occurred, but fortunately no one was injured.
Both people involved in the incident were sober. The driver responsible for the collision was fined PLN 500 and received 6 penalty points.
The police appeal to drivers to exercise caution.
