We return to the case. The incident took place on February 13, before 8:00 a.m., near a Tesco supermarket. Several men beat a 19-year-old student of the Vocational School Complex for Construction. The teenager was also stabbed with a knife. He was taken to hospital.

As it turned out, the teenager was approached—still inside the supermarket—by a 31-year-old Bolesławiec resident, who threatened the vocational school student. When the boy left the store, three men attacked him: the aforementioned 31-year-old and two others aged 30 and 27 (all three are residents of Bolesławiec).

Police arrested the two latter men shortly after the incident. The third, realizing that he was being sought by the officers, reported to the police station on his own several hours later.

At the prosecutor’s request, the court ordered the 31-year-old, who used a knife during the beating, to be held in temporary custody for two months. The 30- and 27-year-olds are subject to police supervision and a ban on approaching the victim. The oldest of the perpetrators faces up to 8 years in prison; the other two could be jailed for three years.
