The project will be carried out in stages to minimize traffic disruptions and limit access to commercial premises, car parks, garages and residential areas as little as possible.
During the project, the route of city bus line 4 will be changed: instead of travelling along Mickiewicza Street and Szkolna Street, buses will be directed along Armii Krajowej Street and Kościuszki Street, followed by Konstytucji 3 Maja Street. In addition, the taxi stand will be removed.
The expected completion date is July of this year. City officials apologize for any inconvenience.
The cost of the project is PLN 3,372,110.07. Scope of works:
- reconstruction of the roadway
- reconstruction of bus bays
- reconstruction of parking spaces, driveways and pavements
- reconstruction of the stormwater drainage system
- reconstruction of the lighting network, including lighting for the pedestrian crossing.
