Today we received a statement from Bolesławiec President Piotr Roman concerning the conflict at BOK-MCC.

Bolesławiec President Piotr Roman hopes that the collective dispute at BOK-MCC will be resolved through negotiations and that the parties will reach an agreement. BOK-MCC Director Ewa Lijewska-Małachowska is obliged to immediately begin negotiations in order to resolve the dispute by agreement. The BOK-MCC director is to begin negotiations with the trade unions later this week.

On January 30 this year, the Workplace Commission of NSZZ “Solidarity” operating at BOK-MCC initiated a collective dispute with the employer. The union members are demanding, among other things, a PLN 500 pay rise. The average earnings of BOK-MCC employees amount to PLN 3,100 gross (the director’s, deputy director’s and accountant’s salaries are not included in the average).
