The Bolesławiec branch of WOPR is organizing a water lifeguard course. The meeting will take place on 28 February 2015 at 3:00 p.m., at the indoor swimming pool in Osiecznica.
The water lifeguard course is held in accordance with the applicable Ministry of the Interior regulations concerning the safety of bathing individuals. After completing the training, participants obtain qualifications to work as water lifeguards at all bodies of water in Poland. To have the full right to work, one must also complete a KPP course (Qualified First Aid). “I believe this is a great alternative for good swimmers who can obtain a complete profession relatively quickly and inexpensively,” says Maciej Marcinkiewicz, a rescue instructor with the Bolesławiec WOPR. In addition, further sports and recreational facilities will soon begin operating in Bolesławiec, where more water lifeguards will certainly be needed. We invite everyone interested to take part in the course.
