The much-anticipated performance was, of course, by the star Blue Cafe, but the Wrocław band The Crackers Band, which performed beforehand, won the audience’s affection with its optimistic, lively songs.

Blue Cafe performed as many as 16 songs, including new recordings that will appear on the band’s third studio album. However, people generally like what they already know best, so the audience responded most enthusiastically to the well-known hits “You May Be In Love” and “Love Song,” which they sang along with vocalist Tatiana Okupnik.

The vocalist impressed the audience not only with her distinctive voice, but also with her inexhaustible energy. Asked after the concert about its source, she replied with a laugh: “Silesian dumplings! Silesian dumplings provide a great deal of positive energy!”

At the audience’s request, the band performed several encores. “You May Be In Love” was, of course, among the encore songs. Tatiana Okupnik and Paweł Rurak-Sokal revealed that they are enthusiasts of Bolesławiec ceramics. The best gift for Tatiana is precisely our ceramics, of which she already has quite a sizeable collection.

At the end, shortly before midnight, the Projject formation performed. The band’s concert was nothing other than an open-air techno dance party. Piłsudski Square was filled with young people. The musicians created techno sounds live, which rarely happens.
