The accident occurred on January 26, at approximately 6:00 p.m., at a pedestrian crossing on Lubańska Street in Jelenia Góra. A 54-year-old Mitsubishi driver hit a 16-year-old pedestrian. The teenager was taken to hospital.
According to the police’s preliminary findings, the 16-year-old stepped onto the road. Both the injured girl and the 54-year-old driver were sober.
The police are investigating the causes of the incident.
