Next, the residents spoke, thanking the Head of the Municipality, the members of the Bolesławiec Municipal Council, and both contractors. Everyone gathered was surprised by Waldemar Zima, the contract engineer, who entered the hall... in a wheelbarrow filled with gifts, which turned out to be tableware. Grażyna Łucka, Deputy Chair of the Bolesławiec Municipal Council, and Olga Burdyna, Chair of the District Council of Rural Housewives' Associations, also took care of the kitchen supplies, ensuring that the members of the local association had utensils with which to cook.
After lunch, Daniel Jedynak, a magician from Wrocław, performed and enchanted those gathered. He invited guests to join in the magic, leaving them rubbing their eyes in astonishment at times. His show entertained both children and adults.
When the performing band invited everyone to have fun and dance together, some expected that the attractions had come to an end. However, the hosts provided the guests with another feast by serving roast wild boar.
The ceremony was organized by the Head of Bolesławiec Municipality, the Municipal Cultural and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn, and the Nowa Wieś Organizing Committee.
