Over the years, while organising various plein-air workshops, including the largest ceramics and sculpture event, BOK-MCC has assembled a valuable and exceptionally interesting collection of works by an international group of artists.
Katarzyna Zarówny, the exhibitions’ curator, has prepared two displays. The “W sam raz” Gallery (Forum) features ceramic sculptural forms, both small works and large-format pieces, as well as abstract compositions made using oil-painting techniques. The exhibition is complemented by reliefs, mosaics and artworks by artists who took part in projects of local and international scope.
In the Druga “Mała Biała” Gallery (MCC ground floor), the curator has gathered the most interesting design works created during the Bolesławiec plein-air workshops. They represent a true spectrum of possibilities offered by industrial design. Visitors will find designs not only for functional ceramics, but also inspiration in design form itself.
The exhibition can be visited until 1 March 2015.
