At the end, the distinguished young pianists performed their winning pieces brilliantly, providing the large audience with wonderful impressions.

The piano duos from the music school in Minz gave an exciting performance: the younger duo – Julia Meyerding and Jeremias Katsouris – and the older duo – Lea Rau and Jaqueline Krebs. Six-year-old Soley Blumel from Austria delighted the audience with her performance of Prokofiev. Barbara Ruda from Wieliczka and Julia Leniart from Wrocław presented exceptionally mature interpretations; the latter created a moving atmosphere in Fryderyk Chopin’s well-known Nocturne in C-sharp minor. However, the greatest applause went to Kamil Pacholec from Kielce for his masterful performance of Sergei Prokofiev’s Sonata, while the Grand Prix winner, Antoni Kawecki from Warsaw, confirmed his mastery by concluding the concert with a Prelude by Rachmaninoff. Sonatas were performed by Zofia Chojnacka from Zgorzelec and Julia Dmochowska from Poznań. Magdalena Adamczak from Ostrów Wielkopolski presented a different character of polyphony. Romantic works were also represented, including Edward Grieg’s atmospheric Suite performed by Cyril Vinzent from Weimar.
