On 21 January, a police patrol spotted an Iveco lorry. The position of its lights indicated that it might be overloaded.
The officers were not mistaken. After weighing the vehicle, it turned out that its payload capacity had been exceeded by 3,210 kg. The traffic police officers did not conceal their surprise: in many years of service, they had never encountered such a case.
The driver—a 34-year-old resident of Lubin municipality—was transporting scrap metal. He received a PLN 500 fine.
