The Głogów Treasure, discovered by chance by two workers, is considered one of the largest finds of its kind in Poland and Europe. It consisted of more than 20,000 silver coins from the 12th and 13th centuries. In the Middle Ages, this was quite a large fortune. More than seven kilograms of silver were used to mint these coins. The most interesting and valuable specimens will be presented in Legnica.
