The Bolesławiec Volleyball Association Elektros team did not take it easy on 6 January. Our volleyball players played an away friendly against MKS Olimpia Kowary, a team currently second in the Group B III-league table (behind ZTS Ząbkowice Śląskie).
The Bolesławiec team defeated the side from Kowary 4–1 (19:25, 25:21, 25:17, 25:14, 16:14). A comment from our team's coach, Krzysztof Mosiądz:
The first set did not go our way. We had trouble adapting to the hall, where we were playing for the first time. As a result, we made many unforced errors, mainly on serve, which simply was not working for us. Apparently, the players needed more time to get into the match and warm up properly. Our play looked completely different in the following sets. We improved our serving and blocking efficiency. In addition, we scored many points on counterattacks, which allowed us to quickly take the lead and win the individual sets and the entire match.
Next Saturday, our volleyball players will face the team from Złotoryja away in a league match. “We are highly motivated to win, and I think we will show our best side in Saturday's match,” adds Krzysztof Mosiądz.
