From 19 to 23 January 2015, LCK invites children aged 6 to 12 to Artistic and Creative Workshops. There will also be interesting activities, integration games, and dance, circus and movement classes. Young artists will be offered activities enabling them to discover their passions and find ideas for creating their own “works of art”.
A special workshop programme has been prepared. Alongside traditional art classes, children will be able to learn about various handicraft techniques, such as batik, linocut and glass painting. They will also learn interesting architectural techniques, such as how to create “urban gardens”. This is a very fashionable trend today, whose results can be seen on the roofs of skyscrapers in New York.
There will also be classes on building their own three-dimensional gardens, connected with architecture and using natural elements or waste materials: egg cartons, paper rolls, string and so on.
The programme includes, among other things:
- juggling activities led by Teatr AVATAR
- “Urban Gardens”
- architectural activities
- “A Surprise for Grandma and Grandpa”
- glass painting
- “A White Line on a Black Background, Part 1”
- linocut (prints on paper and fabric)
- “Ornament” – batik.
Children will be provided with lunch every day (at the Rynek 10 restaurant) and professional educational care. The workshops will be held at the Knights’ Academy from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. The cost is PLN 200 per person. Places are limited.
