For several days, a scooter has been parked in front of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police headquarters. The two-wheeled Keeway Matrix is the police department’s latest acquisition. The officers had already been planning to purchase a moped last year. "We applied to the County Labour Office for equipment for a municipal police officer’s position. This enabled us to obtain money, among other things, to purchase this scooter," says Emil Zając, Commander of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police.

The decision to buy precisely this model was not easy. It was influenced by numerous reviews of scooters written by their users on the Internet. After analysing many reviews, they chose the Keeway Matrix. The scooter cost PLN 4,500. It has a very modern appearance and is richly equipped. It features an alarm, a front brake with ABS and an exhaust-gas catalytic converter. Thanks to its small engine capacity (50 cm³), it is very economical. It uses approximately 2.5 litres of petrol per 100 km. "The scooter will be used to patrol the outskirts of the city, for example Kościuszki Street, Jeleniogórska Street and Osiedle Kwiatowe. It will help us fight more intensively against people who pollute the environment," explains Emil Zając.
