The derby was played on Thursday at the stadium on Rajska Street. The match began with BKS putting pressure on their opponents. The visitors had the upper hand for most of the first half and scored during that period. Juszczak took a free kick on the edge of the penalty area and sent the ball firmly into the box. No one got a touch to the cross, and the ball went unhindered into the corner of Kulesza’s goal. After that, the game became more even. Bobrzanie even gained a slight advantage as they tried to make up the deficit. However, the hosts’ every attack was controlled by the BKS defense.

After the break, Bobrzanie began attacking. Kurianowicz, Kulesza and Naskręt tried to threaten the BKS goal. Unfortunately, it was the visitors who scored the next goal. After Szybowicz fouled Szymański, the referee awarded a penalty, which Kosobucki converted. The foul in the penalty area was controversial, as many match observers believed that the BKS player had simulated. Later in the game, Sosnowski was shown a red card. The MKS player reacted similarly toward his opponent after being fouled. Following the incident, Bobrzanie risked everything and threw themselves into making up the deficit. Kulesza scored the goal that reduced the deficit and was also the honor goal. It was not enough, however, as BKS held on to win and defeated the Municipal Sports Club for the second time this season. Bobrzanie lost to BKS 1–2.
