Parents and guests were invited to the beautifully prepared Nativity play staged by the teachers and students: the parish priest Andrzej Gidziński, the head of the City Council Jarosław Kowalski and the school’s friend Stanisław Zmaczyński. Deputy headteacher Katarzyna Reguła acted as host.

The Christmas performance consisted of a short Nativity play featuring students from primary school and lower secondary school classes. There were shepherds playing instruments, charming angels and many kings. The good script, beautiful children’s costumes, carefully choreographed stage movement and wonderful musical setting attracted attention. It was an extremely successful performance that required a great deal of work to prepare the children and stage it to the delight of parents and students.

A pleasant surprise was the teachers’ singing of songs at the opening and closing. They all deserve great thanks for guiding the children with such care and warmth, teaching them their roles and helping them become comfortable on stage.

The school also held a Christmas decorations fair, organized through cooperation with parents and students who took part in class workshops. For the past two weeks, parents had been meeting with teachers and children to prepare decorations for the fair. The proceeds will be allocated to school purposes. Marzena Bronowicka and Lidia Pałka supervised the fair.
