Officers from Warta Bolesławiecka detained an 18-year-old man suspected of damaging property. The incident occurred during the night of December 13–14 in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. Using a knife, the 18-year-old scratched the bodywork and punctured all the tires of one of the cars. The victim estimated the losses at PLN 5,000.
Furthermore, it was established that the 18-year-old had sent threatening text messages to the victim’s family.
The teenager, a resident of Bolesławiec County, admitted guilt. He explained that he damaged the car because he was drunk and wanted to vent his aggression in this way.
He now faces up to five years in prison.
