Thanks to the support of the players and parents, they were able to fund, among other things, a new bunk bed for three people, duvets, pillows, food and household chemical products, stationery, toys, clothing and dream gifts for the entire family. Three single beds went to other families.
– Once again, the Football Academy community has shown that it is one team and that it can win not only on the pitch, but also in everyday life by helping others and thus educating its young footballers – says Damian Sawczak, FA manager. – I would like to sincerely thank the parents and players of Football Academy Bolesławiec, who once again rose to the occasion. Together, we achieved the intended goal, which was and remains helping others. We want FA players to learn not only how to play football, but also to learn the principles of fair play on and off the pitch, demonstrating exemplary conduct, as in the case of the Noble Gift Package. Thank you all for your help and support.
Football Academy Bolesławiec received an account of the package presentation from the volunteer who looked after the family selected by FA. Here is an excerpt:
I would like to sincerely thank you for such a wonderful package and cooperation on behalf of the family and the entire Noble Gift Package team. Thanks to your help, a completely new chapter began in one family’s life, as they gained more than just material things. They regained faith in people, which they had been missing so much after recent events. Thank you for your tremendous commitment, for making the dreams of seven people come true, for their tears of happiness. Thank you for their beautiful Christmas. And for ours, too, because one experiences it more fully knowing that there are such good people in the world.
The Bolesławiec Noble Gift Package headquarters, led by Magdalena Hutnik, helped 20 families from Bolesławiec this year.
