On 18 December 2014 at 10:00 a.m. social consultations on the draft guidelines for the development of an integrated transport system in the Legnica-Głogów Functional Area will be held at the Arkadia Hotel in Legnica (6 Gliwicka Street). The guidelines were prepared as part of the project entitled “Integrated system of city connections in the Legnica-Głogów Functional Area (LGOF).”
The consultation is organised by the Lower Silesian Voivodeship – Institute for Territorial Development and the project partners: the City of Legnica, the Głogów Urban Commune, and the communes of Legnickie Pole, Jerzmanowa, Żukowice, Kotla and Głogów, as well as Bolesławiec County.
The meeting is addressed to local governments, transport infrastructure managers, non-governmental organisations, entrepreneurs and residents. Comments and conclusions developed during the debate will be taken into account in guidelines for national, regional and local study, strategic and planning documents.
The aim of the meeting is to learn opinions and collect comments and conclusions concerning the draft guidelines for an integrated transport system. The following will be presented during the meeting:
- alternative multimodal transport networks developed for the LGOF area
- traffic forecasts for 2020 and 2030
- the draft guidelines for the development of an integrated transport system.
