On the occasion of this year's "Winnie-the-Pooh's Birthday," the Municipal Public Library organized a reading competition on Monday. Twenty-five third- and fourth-grade students from Primary Schools Nos. 1, 2, 4 and 5 took part in the competition.

In the first part, everyone completed a written test on their knowledge of the numerous adventures of the lovable Bear and His Friends. Six children qualified for the final. At this stage, they had to complete three tasks.

The total number of points earned in the written and oral parts determined the winners:

  1. place - Mariusz Torba, Primary School No. 2 - 34 points.
  2. place - Korneliusz Rzeźwicki, Primary School No. 4 - 32.5 points.
  3. place - Julia Maśnicka, Primary School No. 4 - 30 points.
  4. place - Karolina Krawiec, Primary School No. 5 - 29.5 points.
  5. place - Weronika Kobyłecka, Primary School No. 4 - 27 points.
  6. place - Maciej Knapik, Primary School No. 5 - 26 points.

All participants in the competition received the honorary title of Friend of Winnie-the-Pooh.
