Legnica Border Guard officers conducted operations in Chojnów. On the premises of a Ukrainian national living in Poland, they found... 1,265 litres of spirits, 173,000 cigarettes and more than 210 kg of cut tobacco.
In addition, the officers seized cigarette labels of a well-known brand, as well as knuckle-dusters, knives, a telescopic baton and two rounds of ammunition for which the Ukrainian national had no permit.
The value of the illegal goods was PLN 330,000. The Ukrainian national admitted guilt. He now faces a sentence of up to 8 years in prison.
