On November 24, the equipment underwent technical acceptance. The playground design was prepared by PPU “Wood-Play”. The main contractor is Saternus Distribution from Chorzów. The investment is worth PLN 1,749,835. The funds come from the budget of the City of Bolesławiec.
It is worth recalling that the multigenerational playground has been integrated into the existing trees and vegetation. The aim of the investment is to create several recreation zones for all age groups. The new arrangement is also intended to create greater opportunities for using the park to organize meetings promoting exercise and active leisure.
For the youngest children, a “Farm” corner has been planned, with equipment styled as a barn or mill, as well as animal-shaped swings. A new feature is a set comprising inclusive equipment accessible to children using wheelchairs.
Fitness equipment and equipment for seniors have been installed in three sports and fitness zones; a health trail has also been created. Older children have access to a rope pyramid, a climbing wall and multifunctional play structures. Varied surfaces are intended to ensure safe play. Those looking for a quieter corner have also not been forgotten.
“The next stage of the work includes the construction of new surfaces for the asphalt paths,” Bolesławiec mayor Piotr Roman informs us.
