Lubin County secured PLN 280,000 in funding from the Marshal’s Office to complete the renovation of this road, which was not completed several years ago for financial reasons.
“On 19 November, the County handed over the construction site to the company that won the tender. Under the contract, they will have 14 days to lay the asphalt layer,” says Tomasz Rosik, director of the Infrastructure and Transport Department of the Lubin County Office.
Let us recall that the County received this funding quite late, only in October. It was therefore necessary to carry out the tender procedure and select a contractor without delay. Otherwise, the money would have had to be returned to the Marshal’s Office.
The top layer of asphalt will be laid on a three-kilometre section of the road. The total value of the investment is more than half a million złoty.
