Two meetings with the writer Rafał Podraza and the poet Róża Czerniawska-Karcz have been organized by the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre. The first meeting will take place in Kraśnik Dolny at the Community Hall at 4:00 p.m., and the second in Kruszyn (GOKiS) at 6:00 p.m. The meeting in Kruszyn will also include the presentation of prizes and certificates to the winners of the Most Beautiful Handwritten Letter competition.
Rafał Podraza has two Gold Records, four volumes of poetry, several literary awards, and more than a dozen songs and dramatic works to his name. However, it was his book about the life of the First Lady of Polish Satire, Magdalena Samozwaniec, that brought him true popularity.
Róża Czerniawska-Karcz is the president of the Szczecin branch of the Polish Writers’ Union and will promote her ninth volume of poetry, “...Fragments of Time.” Róża Czerniawska-Karcz is celebrating fifteen years of artistic activity this year. In 1999, her first volume of poetry was published in Kraków.
