On Saturday, November 22, BTS Elektros Bolesławiec faced MKS Pogoń Góra away. After losing the first set, the Bolesławiec team rallied and won the entire match 3:1 (24:26, 25:23, 25:19, 25:13).
Comment by Jacek Łuczkowski, president of the Bolesławiec Volleyball Association:
Given the situation BTS Elektros finds itself in, every match against every opponent is important; we have to win every match for 3 points and can afford to lose only one set. If that happens, we will finish either first or second in the table and play in the playoffs for the second division.
That is exactly how we played in Góra. They are supposedly the weakest team in our group. But they have also strengthened their squad. They signed two players from Złotoryja and one from Oleśnica. Nevertheless, we won for 3 points, and that is what matters most to us.
Next week, on our home court, our volleyball players will face MUKS “Ziemia Milicka” Milicz (today the Milicz team defeated Ikar Legnica 3:2; BTS Elektros and the team from Milicz currently have the same number of points). “This will be a very important match,” emphasizes Jacek Łuczkowski. “I warmly invite our supporters to this game. Come and cheer us on so that a week later we can play for even higher stakes against Ikar Legnica.”
Our volleyball team is coached by Krzysztof Mosiądz.
