Cyclists completed 36 trips with routes of varying difficulty. A total of 356 people took part, covering more than 23,000 kilometers altogether. The perpetual trophy for Ekorama’s most active cyclist was won by Zbigniew Pundyk, who led the largest number of trips and cycled the most kilometers with the association.
The cyclists always traveled to attractive tourist destinations in our region, such as Siedmica, Bolków, Sobótka, Leszczyna, Dziećmorowice, Bogaczów, the heaths in Borówki, and the Sowie Mountains.
The association also provided logistical support for cycling trips organized for city residents by OSiR. On the occasion of Legnica Days, it organized, together with LCK, a cycling rally to the palace in Krotoszyce. For Sustainable Transport Day, organized by MPK, Ekorama presented the benefits of cycling. It also shared its experience with Primary School No. 7 in organizing a family cycling picnic in Grzybiany.
In June, a rally from Gdańsk to Olsztyn was organized. In July, together with colleagues from the partner Czech city of Blansko, association members took part in a fairly difficult rally through the Moravian Karst. In September, Czech cyclists visited Legnica by bicycle, taking the opportunity to tour the Cistercian monastery in Lubiąż. These are only some of the many cycling events organized in Legnica by Ekorama.
