On 11 November, the Municipal Chess Tournament on the occasion of Independence Day was held in the common room of the Henryk Sienkiewicz Primary School in Siedlce (Lubin Rural Commune). The competition was organized by Lubin Rural Commune.
In the seniors' category, Edward Gimel from Składowice won, ahead of Adam Krzos from Lubin and Artur Rogacki from Chróstnik. In the juniors' category, Kamil Rogacki from Chróstnik proved the best. Bartłomiej Róg from Chocianów took second place, while Jakub Skibik from Karczowiska came third.
Among the female juniors, Marta Zieleniec stood on the highest step of the podium. Magdalena Zieleniec came second, and Beata Zieleniec third (all from Obora).
