At the Children’s Creativity Festival, which summarised the project’s activities, children from Municipal Public Kindergarten No. 5 in Bolesławiec and children from Materská škola Studánka in Jablonné v Podještědí presented their musical, dance, singing, recitation and theatrical skills.
As part of the project, four meetings were held. On 27 March 2014, the Czech children visited the kindergarten in Bolesławiec. During the meeting, we watched the play “The Enchanted Forest”; theatrical workshops were held, during which each child made their own puppet, as well as an art competition on the subject of the fairy tale they had seen. All the artworks were presented in April 2014 at an exhibition in Bolesławiec Town Hall.
The next meeting took place on 12 June, when we went together on a trip to the Castle of Silesian Legends in Pławna. There, we had a wonderful time in the fortress and tower and took part in sculpture and lithography workshops.
The next meeting took place on 29 September at the kindergarten in Jablonné v Podještědí under the slogan “Playing and Singing Together”, where the children could develop their musical and dance skills. The project enabled the children to develop their creative interests, independence, creativity, and musical, artistic and theatrical abilities.
The project is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund and by the state budget, with the support of the Nysa Euroregion.
