The money collected by the students will be used to save ruined Polish cemeteries in the Eastern Borderlands. “We encourage residents to support the campaign,” says Leokadia Kołodyńska-Zysk, the campaign coordinator in Bogatynia. “Thanks to your donations, it will be possible to support our compatriots remaining outside the country’s borders and help preserve the memory of the Borderlands and their inhabitants.”
