Cezary Przybylski, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, took part in a conference promoting the cross-border infrastructure project “Reconstruction of Road No. 352 and S 146, a link to the A4 motorway in Zgorzelec.”Cezary Przybylski, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
The project was carried out by the Lower Silesian Roads and Railways Service in Wrocław, representing the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The meeting concerning the reconstruction of Voivodeship Road No. 352 Radomierzyce–Zatonie was held on Thursday, 23 October, at the Municipal and Communal Office in Bogatynia. In addition to summarising the implementation of the cross-border road project involving the reconstruction of DW 352 Radomierzyce–Zatonie, the Lower Silesian Roads and Railways Service in Wrocław presented investment plans for the new 2014–2020 financial perspective.
At the meeting, German partners were presented with proposals for joint projects involving the modernisation of Voivodeship Road No. 352 (the Zatonie–Bogatynia section) and Road No. 354 (the Turoszów–Sieniawka section).
The modernised section of Lower Silesian Voivodeship Road No. 352, approximately 14.5 km long, is located in Zgorzelec County and in the two municipalities of Zgorzelec and Bogatynia. It provides a direct connection to the Polish-German Sieniawka–Zittau border crossing, the TEN-T network and the A4 motorway. For all users, and particularly for the border area, this connection is an important transport route. Due to its poor technical condition, Voivodeship Road No. 352 required essential modernisation to ensure safety and suitable driving conditions.
