The event took place on October 21–22 at the State Higher Vocational School in Legnica. This year’s edition was held under the slogan “How to Make Friends with the Labour Market”. The City Game was held under the honorary patronage of PWSZ Rector Prof. Ryszard K. Pisarski and Tadeusz Krzakowski, the President of Legnica.
The students of the Economic Schools Complex, the Building Schools Complex and the Academic General Secondary School operating at PWSZ took the next places in the competition.
This year, 12 Legnica secondary schools took part in the competition, each represented by a three-person team. The students participating in the City Game competed in such challenges as arranging the longest series of words related to the labour market, guessing the names of future professions from read-out definitions, charades, presenting advertising slogans and descriptions of invented companies, and suggesting new uses for everyday objects.
Among other things, the aim of the City Game was to promote informed educational and career planning choices among students of Legnica secondary schools, familiarise participants with various types of professional careers and indicate possible paths of professional development, as well as provide knowledge about institutions operating in the labour and employment market and intensify contacts and the exchange of information between labour-market institutions.
