DEPUTY CHIEF ACCOUNTANT/CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

Work location: Rakowice Małe near Lwówek Śl.

Job description:

  • responsibility for the correctness of the chart of accounts in accordance with specified reporting standards, controlling requirements and tax law
  • verification and posting of documents
  • supervision of the proper circulation of accounting documents
  • substantive and organisational supervision of the accounting department
  • liaising and cooperating with external institutions
  • responsibility for correct tax settlements
  • supporting other company departments on matters related to settlements
  • preparing tax returns accurately and on time in accordance with the currently applicable regulations
  • reporting to GUS
  • preparing financial statements in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act
  • cooperating with external auditors in the examination of the Company’s financial statements

We expect candidates to have:

  • a university degree in economics; accounting preferred
  • good knowledge of balance-sheet and tax law matters
  • at least 3 years’ experience as a chief accountant/deputy chief accountant
  • good knowledge of MS Office
  • analytical skills
  • experience and skills in team management
  • knowledge of ERP systems
  • professional experience in the construction industry (welcome)
